Dr. Meetu Mahendra
Dentist
My name is Dr. Meetu Mahendra. I graduated from University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry with Honors in 2005. Then I practiced in a small town dental practice in Port Perry for four years.
In 2009 my husband (yes, that's the other Dr. Mahendra!) and I started practicing at Saginaw Dental Centre.
Since childhood, I wanted to be a healthcare practitioner because of their ability to improve another person's quality of life. In my practice it is my goal to provide a relaxed patient-centric environment where the patient is educated about all treatment options and is encouraged to make an informed decision.
Although, I like seeing patients of all age groups, treating children holds a special meaning in my heart and I love giving them a memorable dental visit so they have an appreciation for dentistry. It made my day when one of our youngest patients accompanying his big brother exclaimed, "When did you give him the needle? I didn't see it! Why didn't he cry?". It's great when our patients realize that visiting the dentist is nothing to be afraid of and is an important part of maintaining your oral health.
I regularly take continuing education courses to stay updated in the latest advancements in dentistry. I am an active active member of ODA and RCDSO.
I love to cook for my children , and spend time watching them grow - that is so entertaining! I also love to read fiction and news articles.
Dr. Tushar Mahendra
Dentist
I received my first Dental degree with Honours, in 2000 from the prestigious University of Pune, India. I went on to compete a yearlong general dental practice residency at Dental Hospital attached to the University. I then taught at a Dental School for a brief period of time. I moved to Canada with my wife, Dr Meetu Mahendra in 2002. After a year of exams and tests, from a pool of 2000 eager foreign trained dentists, I gained admission into the University of Toronto's certification program for foreign trained dentists.
I graduated from that program in 2005 with Honours. Since then, I have completed hundreds if not thousands of hours of continuing education to allow me to offer the best treatments to my patients. I have done Implant residencies with Dr Carl Misch and Dr Ken Hebel. After associating in practices in Cobourg and Port Perry, Dr Meetu and I took over ownership and started practicing at Saginaw Dental Centre, January 5, 2009
When I am not with my patients, I am spending time with my lovely wife and two kids, the centre of my Universe. When my family has had enough of me, I am outside, walking my dog, on a twisty road (riding two wheels or four), hiking, kayaking in Tobermory or just working on my yard. I grew up in a military family , my father a decorated Veteran of the Indian Army. My parents taught me the values of family, honesty, discipline and hard work
You only live once my friends, but if you do it right, once is enough.
Dr. Juhee Hur
Dentist
Dr. Hur Grew up in Waterloo, graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor's degree in neuroscience in 2007. After Graduating from the University of Western Ontario Dental School in 2014, she moved back to Waterloo and has been practicing in the area since.
She has a patient focused approach and aims to provide the best dental treatment for her patients in a relaxed and comfortable manner.
She has been part of the Saginaw Dental Centre family since 2017.
Dr. Pardeep Narang
Dentist
A native of British Columbia, Dr Pardeep Narang graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from McGill University in Montreal in 2013. He completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Sydney, Australia in 2018.
He is a highly motivated clinician who takes the time to understand the individual patient needs. He provides comprehensive care based on evidence based research.
Outside the office Dr Narang enjoys staying active with sports, gym, spending time outdoors and travelling.
He has been practicing at Saginaw Dental Centre since 2020.
Tabatha Nicholson
Registered Dental Hygienist
My name is Tabatha. I have been working as a Registered Dental Hygienist with Saginaw Dental Centre since June 2009. I received my Dental Hygiene Diploma from Cambrian College in Sudbury in 2008.
I will try to make your dental hygiene appointment as enjoyable as possible. My goal is to provide a relaxing and comfortable experience so that you continue to return with ease. I am also commited to my on-going continuing education with a special interest in workplace health and safety and infection prevention and control.
When I'm not at work, I am enjoying my time with my husband, two kids and dogs. We enjoy camping, watching hockey and having dance parties in our living room.
Mellissa Pearson
Office Manager
My name is Mellissa. I have been a receptionist and Office Manager at Saginaw Dental Centre since Spring 2012. I graduated from the Dental Assisting Program at the Toronto School of Business in 1997. From there I worked in a Toronto Dental office for 2 years, I worked for World of Vacations call centre for approximately 2 years, helped my husband with his own plumbing business as well as a fulltime mother of 2.
I have a keen eye for detail. I want you to feel confident that the small details of all your appointments are looked after. I can assist you with questions regarding your insurance and recommended treatment. I have also been known to throw on some scrubs to help assist in the clinic part of our office as needed. My goal is to greet you with a friendly smile and have your appointment run as smooth as possible so you leave with a smile as well.
When I'm not in the office, you can find me at home with my husband, two grown sons and our two dogs Beau and Jagger. I enjoy occasionally meeting up with my friends for a coffee, reading a good book on my porch and daily walks with my dogs.

I graduated from Durham college in 2009 from the Dental Reception and Administration course
I have been working in dental ever since, joining Saginaw Dental Centre in 2019
When not working I am spending time with my husband and two boys, walking trails with my dog or attending live music events.

I grew up in India where I graduated from dentistry in 2016. I moved to Canada in 2017 to be with my husband. I then got an opportunity to work as a patient care coordinator, where I discovered my passion to help patients with questions regarding their treatment options.
I joined the wonderful team of Saginaw dental in 2021. I will always do my best to accommodate everyone's schedule and answer questions regarding your treatment needs as well as help with estimates and Insurance billings.
When not in office, I will be home cooking and grooving to some loud music. I love to travel and spend time with my family and friends."

Tejaswi
Dental Assistant
I am Tejaswi. I graduated as a dentist in 2017 from India and went on to pursue Masters in Prosthodontics and successfully finished my masters in 2021.
I worked as a Prosthodontist for a brief period before moving to canada in 2022.
I now work as a Dental Assistant at Saginaw dental centre and this newfound role has been very rewarding, thanks to the team here at Saginaw who have been welcoming.
I am eager to learn and contribute in every possible way in my role as a Dental Assistant.
I spend my leisure time on long drives with ringing 90s Melodies and loads of coffee along and random talks with my husband.
Jaydip
Dental Assistant
Jay recently joined our office as a dental assistant. He is a foreign-trained dentist (BDS) and currently in the process of his Canadian degree equivalency with National Dental Examining Board (NDEB). He completed his post-graduation in 'Healthcare administration and service management' from Conestoga college. He is also a board-certified dental assistant (CDA-2).
Outside the clinic, Jay enjoys staying active, playing sports and getting outdoors. He is especially passionate about cricket, a sport that he has been playing from young age.
